Premium quality reels without headphones, visible microphones or backing tracks.
Allow casting teams to experience your full performance the way you deserve to be seen.
Theatre Reels offers a premium service of video singing and spoken voice reels at competitive prices. We provide top-rate recordings for your Spotlight profile and social media, as well as full coaching during your session from some of the industry’s top vocal coaches and musical directors.
Our team is committed to helping you choose your repertoire, perfect your vocal technique, tell an engaging and believable story through your acting, and get the perfect edit.
Step 1 - Choosing Your Material
Once you have booked a session with us, you receive a 30-minute zoom interview with one of our team who will talk through your repertoire choices, outfit suggestions and practice ideas for you to feel as prepared as possible before your shoot day.
Step 2 - Coaching for success
Theatre Reels works with some of the industry's top Vocal coaches, Acting Through Song coaches, and Musical Directors. When you arrive at your shoot, the team will fully support you in making the best possible technical and artistic decisions in your songs and coach you on how to perform for the camera. Our team walk you through every step of the process so you can relax and deliver your very best on the day.
Step 3 - ‘Reel’ Performance
All of our Musical Theatre Singing Reels are performed with a live accompanist. You won’t be wearing headphones, and no microphone will be visible in the shot. This gives you the freedom to perform fully as you would in an audition room or on stage, allowing your acting through song to be more authentic. Our reels are shot multi-cam in 4K, meaning we can capture a professional look from many perspectives. We shoot using a ‘live take’ philosophy, aiming to get your entire video within the same take. This means casting directors, artistic teams, agents, and drama schools can be confident that they see an accurate representation of you at your best and not an overly edited, highly filtered version of what you do in the room.
